About this Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse, providing culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families in remote areas of Northern BC.

This role involves delivering primary care and public health services through integrated and accessible healthcare services. You will work collaboratively with community members to identify health priorities and address prevention strategies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3000 hours of clinical experience acquired within the last 3 years.
  • Experience in complex activities across various situations in Primary/Acute/Intensive care, Urgent/Emergency care or Community health (public health and home and community care).

To be considered for this position, you must have a recognized Canadian Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a valid BCCNM license, and up-to-date certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and International Trauma Life Support.

You should also have a valid class 'G' driver's license, Mask-fit Tested certification, WHMIS training, TDG certification, Medical Clearance from your primary care provider, and Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
