Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and equipment, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate the assembly and shipping of products, including preparing and processing shipping documents and labels.
  • Verify and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, including customs forms and commercial invoices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or concerns related to assembly and shipping.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor and report on shipping and assembly metrics, including on-time delivery rates and product quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in assembly and shipping coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
