Job Title: Countertop Installer

We are seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working outdoors in a non-smoking environment. You will be working in various locations, including construction and renovation sites, and will be required to install exterior and interior prefabricated products.

Responsibilities
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including countertops and other related materials.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products as needed.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders for completed tasks.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, and prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and supervise other workers as needed.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Hand tools, including steel-toed safety boots and safety equipment/gear.
Transportation/Travel Information
  • Own transportation is required for this role.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
