Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Engineering Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics UK. As a Junior Test Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for assignments of varying scope and complexity in areas of test engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of test strategies and plans for production test flows and equipment.
  • Design and develop test equipment and methods, including test fixtures and documentation.
  • Provide technical support for test process and equipment issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for production personnel on test equipment operation and product-specific fault diagnostics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronics and software development using languages such as CVI, C++, C#, LabView, SQL, TestStand, JTAG.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
