Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at SBR Commercial Services Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Accounting Software: Maintain and update accounting software, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
