Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Tolko. As a key member of our software systems and BI applications team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that meet business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems.
  • Lead the integration efforts for merging data & analytics platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
  • Design, code, test, and document all new or modified data & analytics systems, applications, and programs.
  • Develop the semantic layer, metadata, and report definitions.
  • Assist in the design of data pipelines and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
  • Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.
  • Support and analyze existing software systems, data & analytics applications, operational reporting, and ETL processes that feed the data warehouses.
  • Select, blueprint, gather requirements, design, and deploy data & analytics solutions to end users.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for BI processes and solutions.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the BI domain and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior members of the team.

  • A competitive salary based on your skills and experience, with an expected base salary range of $79,500 - $106,000 per year.
