Job Description

Job Summary:

Maarut Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in defect tracking, automated test tools, and version control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, test scripts, and test data, documenting software defects, and tracking resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Document and track software defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and lead initial UAT sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in defect tracking, automated test tools, and version control systems
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and leading initial UAT sessions
  • Knowledge of automated test tools and version control systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint,.NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana

Public Sector Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
