Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 9342-7490 Quebec Inc. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, adhering to scheduled maintenance schedules and company protocols.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication with the team.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, providing accurate data for operational analysis.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Willingness to travel cross-border and internationally, adapting to changing schedules and routes.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Organized and methodical approach to tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and dispatch teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
