About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Bob Martin. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Specialized Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Housekeeping room attendant certification.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Working Conditions
