Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role
The Maintenance Lead is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing all building and system maintenance at our Hallmark Residences. This includes managing projects, a team, and ensuring prompt service for residents' needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily direction and mentorship to the maintenance team
- Oversee contracted maintenance work and ensure effective scheduling and workload distribution
- Hire and evaluate team members, manage performance, and ensure compliance with safety policies
- Handle routine repairs, oversee door systems, and support the Administrator and Director of Maintenance with budgets and contracts
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and manage the department's budget
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years related repair and maintenance experience
- Knowledge of codes, regulations, and best practices related to the role
- Previous experience in leadership, supervising teams, hiring and monitoring contractors, and project management
- Minimum of class 5 driver's license
- Ability to work effectively, both independently with a high level of autonomy and in collaboration with a team

With excellent interpersonal skills, you establish and maintain professional relationships with team members, residents, and external parties. Compensation & Benefits
An hourly salary of $37.10. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matched contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
