Site Supervisor Job Description

Eagle Builders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our construction projects. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our team of trades, ensuring projects are completed on time, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain project schedules, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring work is completed according to specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance and support to onsite personnel as needed.
  • Schedule sub-trades and deliveries from suppliers, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Communicate with sub-trades to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers, ensuring seamless project coordination.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards, ensuring all work meets industry expectations.
  • Manage documentation, submitting it in a timely manner.
  • Read, understand, and explain blueprints, informing trades of any changes.
  • Be available to resolve issues, travel to sites, and provide updates outside of regular working hours.
  • Anticipate and resolve potential issues, preparing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular onsite and office meetings with owners, sub-trades, and project managers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
  • Understanding of the construction process from layout to finish.
  • Valid Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE) certificate, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform.
  • Proficient with computers and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proven safety record, with the ability to maintain safety standards.
  • Valid Class 5 license, acceptable driver's abstract, with reliable transportation.
  • Available to work away from home Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday.
  • Minimum of 44-50 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime.
  • Local to or willing to relocate to Central Alberta.
