About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods for our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders and provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 35 hours per week.
