Job Title: Housekeeper (Except Private Households)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Address customers' complaints or concerns, work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
