Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Demore Drywall as a Wall Installation Specialist. As a key member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our drywall installation projects.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position, with an estimated salary range of $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • As a Wall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall partitions, ceilings, and fire-resistant barriers in accordance with building codes and industry standards.
  • You will work closely with our project managers and other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Fitting and assembling components using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Two years to less than three years of experience in drywall installation or a related trade
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
