We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Demore Drywall as a Wall Installation Specialist. As a key member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our drywall installation projects.
About the Role:- This is a full-time position, with an estimated salary range of $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- As a Wall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall partitions, ceilings, and fire-resistant barriers in accordance with building codes and industry standards.
- You will work closely with our project managers and other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Fitting and assembling components using hand and power tools
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Two years to less than three years of experience in drywall installation or a related trade
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
