Purpose:

The Housekeeper provides cleaning and housekeeping support to the teams in Housing & Conference Services at York University, ensuring residence spaces and rooms are maintained to a high standard. This role involves working collaboratively with the Custodians to provide exceptional housekeeping services.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current student at York University.
  • Previous work experience, particularly in cleaning, is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide cleaning and housekeeping support to residence teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Custodians to maintain residence spaces and rooms.
  • Meet frequent and tight deadlines while handling a high volume of repetitive work.
