About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Evergreen Rehab & Wellness in Surrey. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to address their needs and progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional and therapeutic massage services to clients, tailoring treatments to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' requirements and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Accurately document clients' health histories, current conditions, and treatment progress, as required by insurance companies or patients.
  • Prepare detailed reports or notes for insurance companies or patients, as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address clients' needs and progress, ensuring seamless care and communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of BC in good standing.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques, including modalities and treatment approaches.
  • A willingness to embrace our clinic's values and culture, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in other languages, such as Korean, Mandarin, or Cantonese, is an asset.
