Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EarlyON Designate to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our Early Years team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality early years programs and services that meet the needs of children, parents, and caregivers in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and services that align with the EarlyON curriculum and meet the needs of children, parents, and caregivers.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, students, and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality early years programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Child Care and Early Years Act (2014), and YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with EarlyON leads and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of programs and services.
  • Provide administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and inventory management.
  • Participate in meetings and events as required, and represent the YMCA of Three Rivers in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Early Learning or Child Care.
  • Knowledge and expertise in child development and play-based learning.
  • Experience creating environments that nurture relationships for children, parents, and caregivers based on the latest evidence and research.
  • Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years and experience delivering high-quality early years programs.
  • Strong communication, adaptability, creativity, and innovation skills.
