Agronomy Intern Job Overview

Simplot Canada (II) Limited invites applications for an Agronomy Intern position. As an Agronomy Intern, you will contribute to the success of our company by gaining hands-on experience in the Ag Industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Retail Operations
    • Coordinate and execute daily retail operations
    • Ensure timely and efficient product movement
    • Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
    • Complete accurate inventory counts and loadout tickets
  • Agronomist Intern Scouting Program Participant
    • Scout crops across multiple fields
    • Collaborate with Agronomist, ACE, and/or Agronomy Lead for expert guidance
    • Develop essential skills in agriculture and scouting practices
  • Agro-Research Assistant
    • Participate in research projects focused on improving agricultural efficiency
    • Design and implement experiments to test new products and methods
    • Analyze data and provide insights to inform future decisions
About You
  • Current enrollment in post-secondary education related to Agriculture
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform physical labor as required
Compensation Package

This intern position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
