About the Role

At The Port Physiotherapy And Massage, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare support staff, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with patient assessments, examinations, and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist physicians in assessing patients, examine patients as needed, and help physical therapists with patient care.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of medications, pharmaceutical products, and equipment inventory.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process files, maintain prescription records, clean and maintain equipment, and perform routine office functions.
  • Supervision and Training: Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, and order supplies and equipment as needed.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has excellent communication skills. As a Physiotherapy Assistant at The Port Physiotherapy And Massage, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification or diploma from a recognized program in physiotherapy assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

The Port Physiotherapy And Massage offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $55,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
