Job Details

Sunbelt Solomon Services is seeking a Safety Compliance Officer to join our team, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety compliance program, working closely with department managers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as a resource providing safety compliance support for leaders and employees, and facilitate company-wide safety compliance audits.
  • Manage worker's compensation claims, conduct periodic site safety audits, and provide training to site leaders on conducting effective audits.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in a safety compliance role, preferably in an Engineering or Technical Field Services environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health & Safety or relevant field experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, ability to communicate complex information effectively, and dedication to promoting a positive safety culture.
