Schedule and Compensation

This part-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary ranging from $18.00 to $20 per hour, ensuring fair compensation for your hard work. Your schedule will consist of 11:30 pm to 7:30 am shifts on Thursday and Friday nights.

Job Description

As an Overnight Janitorial Staff member, you will be responsible for front desk administration, security of the building and grounds, residents, and janitorial duties. This role requires attention to detail and multitasking skills, as you will be performing various tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Building Security
  • Monitor security cameras to ensure the safety of our residents and staff.
  • Perform regular building and outside grounds checks to identify any potential issues.
  • Respond to fire and smoke alarms according to our established emergency plan.
• Resident Support
  • Respond promptly to resident emergencies and follow established protocols to ensure their well-being.
  • Address inquiries from residents, families, and the general public in a professional manner.
• Administration
  • Answer telephone calls, transfer them as needed, and take messages for our residents and staff.
  • Record and report any unusual or serious incidents that may occur during your shift.
  • Complete assigned duties accurately and on time, including updating the communication log.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in administration and 2 years in janitorial work is preferred.
• A clear criminal record for vulnerable sectors is mandatory.
