Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Systems Technician at Guelph, Ontario, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including nights and weekends.

A proactive approach to preventive maintenance and a commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
  • Complete administrative tasks effectively, including permitting, parts requisitions, and maintenance of work order records.
Key Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate (Full License).
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada with a minimum age of 18 years.
  • The ability to perform physical job duties including bending, stooping, lifting at least 50lbs, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent and basic computer literacy.
