Job Title: Daycare Educator

About the Job

The Daycare Educator will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for preschool and elementary school students. This will involve planning, preparing, and conducting activities aligned with the educational project, while ensuring the health and safety of the students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct sports, cultural, leisure, and recreational activities indoors and outdoors
  • Assist students in dressing and undressing, recording attendance, and preparing meals
  • Administer first aid, medications, and supervise students to ensure safety
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to maintain a collaborative environment
  • Participate in meetings, assist with administrative tasks, and use technology to perform duties

Requirements

  • Secondary School Diploma and Attestation of Vocational Studies in Day Care Services or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant experience working with elementary students
  • Written and oral proficiency in English and French
  • Certificate in first aid and refresher course
