Key Responsibilities:
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement effective grounds maintenance plans to ensure the health and appearance of our nursery and greenhouse operations.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Accurately estimate labour and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and detailed records of work completed, including labour hours, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Material Requisition: Order and requisition necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support nursery and greenhouse operations.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Provide technical guidance and support to staff, resolving work-related problems and implementing measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of 5-10 nursery and greenhouse workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain effective work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of nursery and greenhouse activities.
