Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Primary Fluid Systems Inc. in [Location].

This role involves receiving and processing incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage or defects, and ensuring accurate inventory levels.

  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
  • Pack goods to be shipped and ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Read blueprints and drawings to identify shipping and receiving procedures.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
