About the Role:

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its private capital program. As a Senior Vice President of Private Capital Investments, you will provide strategic leadership in developing and executing the company's private capital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute the private capital strategy
  • Provide strategic recommendations on strategy, frameworks, policies, metrics, and best practices for the private capital program
  • Recommend investment and partnership opportunities
  • Direct and perform due diligence
  • Build and maintain relationships with fund managers, industry partners, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and provide effective reporting, forecasting, analytics, and monitoring of program outcomes and financial results
  • Coach and mentor a team of high-performing analysts and principals, establishing clear direction, priorities, and performance metrics

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in finance, business, or commerce and at least 15 years of related leadership experience supplemented by a CPA, CFA, or MBA designation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of private capital investments (debt and equity)
  • Ability to develop successful teams and foster strong relationships
