Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Manitoulin Transport. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment, including scheduled and emergency service. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in interpreting drawings and manuals, diagnosing problems, and coming up with solutions to repair them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
  • Perform scheduled and emergency service on HVAC equipment
  • Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
  • Order parts needed for repairs
  • Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services performed
  • Complete reports for work recommended
  • Explain issues with equipment and repairs
Qualifications
  • Licensed mechanic (313A)
  • Gas Fitters license, G2 preferred
  • Working at Heights required/provided
  • 5+ years experience in Mechanical controls/BAS
  • Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of equipment needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job
  • Driver's license and clean drivers abstract
