Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Angelo V Pollastrone. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to families in a safe and nurturing environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in childcare, with a strong focus on creating engaging activities for children. You will work 40 hours per week, preparing meals, bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, as well as organizing games and outings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional childcare services to families, ensuring the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities for children, including arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, maintaining their personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Establish a safe and welcoming environment for children, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in childcare, preferably working with multi-aged groups of children.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with relevant certifications or training in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with physical stamina to keep up with the demands of childcare.
  • First aid and CPR certification, with knowledge of child development principles and practices.
