Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop feasibility and space planning options in AutoCAD
  • Produce tender and permit construction design drawings under the guidance of principal project designer
  • Develop project concept and finishes packages, including sourcing materials and specifying finishes
  • Research and source furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) as required
  • Liaise with outside vendors and consultants to confirm pricing, lead times, and project deliverables
  • Support assigned project teams with administrative tasks and maintain organized project files
  • Communicate and coordinate with project teams, contractors, and engineers as needed
  • Attend project sites and client locations for site audits, installations, and progress reviews

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a Canadian accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in commercial or workplace areas of interior design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office platforms
  • Strong 3D rendering skills in Revit, SketchUp, or other modeling software programs
  • Permanent residency in the greater Toronto area and ability to provide own transportation
