Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of rebar on construction sites. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
