At Brightcity electrical and general contractor, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and the ability to work with a variety of electrical systems.



Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for electrical projects
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electrical components to ensure optimal performance
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform electrical system design and implementation
  • Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics to stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems


Requirements

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
