Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dawson Dental in Hanover, ON. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing patient care and support in an enthusiastic and personalized way
  • Ensuring patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goals for comprehensive oral health
  • Collecting patient dental and medical history to reference during examinations
  • Taking X-Rays and following all safety procedures as required
  • Examining gums for infections or gum disease
  • Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress
  • Updating patient records and examination notes
  • Performing lab duties and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Communicating with patients for aftercare and answering questions
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program completion
  • Registration and/or licensure by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within the province, in good standing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid training
