Job Title: Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale enterprise trading applications in the Capital Markets space.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in web development, with experience in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAAS/LESS. You will be working on a globally distributed team to deliver the next generation UI experience for traders at our client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale enterprise trading applications in the Capital Markets space.
  • Work directly with end users on requirements analysis and capture.
  • Troubleshoot challenging performance and scalability issues.
  • Liaise with the global business, support, and development teams.
  • Assist in third-line support during core trading hours and Production issues as needed.
  • Enhance our automated testing efforts and optimize our UAT process.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise trading applications in the Capital Markets space.
  • Experience using Angular 14.0+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS/LESS.
  • Experience using Angular grid libraries (ag-Grid).
  • Experience with RxJS and ngRX.
  • Experience with writing unit tests for Angular/TypeScript using JEST.
  • Experience with building cross-platform applications using Web technologies such as Electron, Chromium, and OpenFin etc.
  • Experience with consuming real-time streaming data through web sockets.
  • Experience with consuming JSON-based data from REST services.
  • Experience with tools such as Visual Studio Code, npm.
  • Experience with build pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.) and ECS hosting (OpenShift).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the ION Trading Platform.
  • Experience with C#/.NET/WPF and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with writing unit tests for C#/.NET (NUnit/MSTest/SpecFlow etc.).
  • Experience with Rx extensions (.NET).
  • Knowledge of any Interest Rates or Futures financial products (e.g. Treasuries/Swaps).
