About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Spruce Wood Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of wood construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Prepare detailed layouts and estimates for building projects, taking into account building codes and regulations.
  • Woodworking: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Site Management: Supervise and instruct apprentices, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.
  • Client Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to clients on project progress and timelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry.
