Description:
As a key member of our team, you will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience in acute care or mental health. Ability to respond to emergent situations. Ability to climb stairs, carry equipment weighing 20kg on rare circumstances, and to push/pull heavy doors. Experience with marginalized groups. Indigenous Awareness and Sensitivity series from MyLearningLink. Diversity and Inclusion series from MyLearningLink. Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITLS certified.
