Job Title: Application Architect – Digital Analytics and Reporting

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the development of our digital analytics and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, reporting, and application architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop application architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet business and application requirements.
  2. Define architecture for web-based projects and ensure integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
  3. Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems.
  4. Monitor industry trends to ensure solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
  5. Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and application sub-systems, and develop data dictionary.
  6. Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application sub-systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
  7. Perform architectural modeling to ensure consistency of the design with existing work.
  8. Assess the impact of new requirements on existing web applications.
  9. Ensure functionalities have been implemented according to specifications.
  10. Develop post-implementation plan for monitoring/tracking architecture stability.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of relevant experience in application architecture, data analytics, and reporting.
  2. Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions.
  3. Strong background in data analytics, reporting, and application architecture.
  4. Experience with Agile delivery teams and SAFe Framework.
  5. Certified Data Management Professional Certification (CDMP – DAMA) is an asset.
