About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at AG Marketing & Development Group Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and developing databases, operating database management systems, and implementing data administration policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Development: Design and develop databases to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Database Management: Operate database management systems to analyze data and ensure data integrity.
  • Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security.
  • Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, and data access rules.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
  • User Requirements: Collect and document user requirements to ensure data meets the needs of our organization.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. As a team player, you will be working closely with other departments to ensure data quality and security.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.

  • Client Focus: Excellent communication skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
  • Organized: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
