Ortec Group, a leading provider of industrial cleaning services, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Canada.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy equipment vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including hydraulic and electrical systems
• Conduct daily inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Complete daily work reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• DEP or equivalent in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Valid certifications in diesel mechanics and welding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
