Job Title: Bookkeeper

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Safai Maintenance. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in this field of employment
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Willing to relocate
