About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at DIWAN A DAWETT RESTAURANT LTD O/A DAWETT RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on restaurant operations and performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for restaurant operations.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all aspects of restaurant operations are running smoothly.
