Key Responsibilities
- Design and Fabrication: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for custom cabinets and furniture, utilizing expertise in woodworking and furniture production.
- Machining and Assembly: Operate a variety of woodworking automated machinery as well as classic woodworking tools and machinery to assemble and install cabinets, counters, and doors according to specifications.
- Material Selection and Preparation: Correctly identify, select, and prepare materials to meet building codes and safety regulations, ensuring high-quality finished products.
- Quality Control and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and perform quality control on finished products, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, while also working independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in cabinet making or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for custom cabinets and furniture.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, architectural sound, and innovative designs.
- Ability to work with a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
