Connor Industries is seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team. As a Welder-Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, and welding helmet.
