About the Role:
ACE LANDSCAPING LTD is seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for planning and executing the installation of various landscape structures, including gardens, patios, and walkways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Plan the incorporation of landscape structures, including gardens, patios, and walkways
- Read blueprints and other instructions to determine work requirements
- Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, and vista pruning
- Estimate costs and prepare contracts and tenders
- Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products
- Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes
- Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
- Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
- Plant and move trees
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in landscape construction
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to relocate to various locations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
