Job Description:Job Title: Content Development SpecialistWe're seeking an experienced Content Development Specialist to join our Operations Content Development team at Nomic Bio. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and launching additional protein biomarkers to our nELISA proteomics platform.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the expansion of our content and performance improvements by sourcing antibodies, running screening and expansion manufacturing protocols, and validating assays.
- You will lead and contribute to the development of new content within our growing plex list, requiring working with various robotics (Lynx) and other instruments for manufacturing and testing.
- You will troubleshoot potential issues that may arise during the development and testing of new targets, whether autonomously or in cross-functional initiatives.
- You will contribute to building the content launch operating unit by developing and deploying new features, protocols, and workflows in collaboration with the manufacturing, automation, software, and Data teams to accommodate plex expansion.
- You will research and investigate antibodies and antigens within the industry to find content that is likely to have the best success in our nELISA platform technology.
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in biotechnology and experience in the BioTech industry. You should have a bachelor's or master's degree in a biology-related field, with a minimum of 3 years of wet lab experience.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of techniques in a biotechnology discipline, such as ELISA, flow cytometry, bead-based assays, bio-conjugation and purification, spectroscopy, microscopy, PCR, and cell culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a biology-related field or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of wet lab experience in the BioTech industry
- Knowledge of techniques in a biotechnology discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage projects and facilitate cross-functional efforts
