Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our shared services IT division in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in crafting and implementing secure systems, staying ahead of emerging threats, and translating complex security measures into clear instructions for both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct threat assessments of IT solution designs and determine associated cybersecurity risks.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity controls to mitigate risks.
  • Review IT and cybersecurity control changes, assessing emerging risks and preparing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct periodic audits of cybersecurity control architecture and develop policies to meet business objectives.
  • Provide inputs for crisis management plans and information security management systems.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM. A proven background in a similar Cyber Security Architect role, along with a good knowledge of Cyber Architect principles, NIST Cyber Security Framework, and NCSC Cyber Security guidance, is essential. Familiarity with data privacy regulations, IT security controls, and security tools and technologies is also required.
