About the Role:

Hylife is seeking a Hog Receiving Worker to join our team in Neepawa, MB. As a Hog Receiving Worker, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading hog deliveries, sorting hogs into appropriate receiving pens, and ensuring humane and safe handling of hogs in our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and unloading hog deliveries
  • Sort hogs into appropriate receiving pens
  • Ensure humane and safe handling of hogs in our facility
  • Complete hog receiving documents to CFIA standards
  • Scraping trailers
  • Working outside and in a barn environment

Requirements:

  • Respect for animal welfare, food safety, and workplace safety
  • Understanding of animal behavior and previous experience working with livestock
  • Dedication and ability to work in a team
  • Physical fitness
