About the Role

MacLean Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Human Machine Interface (HMI) team. As a key member of our Advanced Vehicle Technology Organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our telemetry technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based solutions for telemetry data processing and visualization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of intuitive and responsive PLC-based visualization and user interaction.
  • Ensure UI and UX design principles are implemented effectively, meeting both functional and aesthetic requirements.
  • Evaluate opportunities for improvement and support cross-organizational GUI development.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of engineering development experience in software engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the job responsibilities and duties described above.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages, primarily Spanish and French, is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field is an asset.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or similar certification is an asset.
