Fabrication Welder Job Description

Rosh Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Monitor safety conditions and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work language: English.
