Home Care Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark's Home and Community Care division, Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR). As a Home Care Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for completing Independent Living Services (ILS) assessments in the residential homes of injured workers throughout the province of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Personal Care Assessments, Home Safety Assessments, Home Accessibility Assessments, and Mobility A and B assessments
  • Work collaboratively with clients to schedule assessments at their convenience
  • Provide premium compensation and additional benefits for mileage, travel, and training time
  • Enjoy a flexible, casual part-time opportunity based on referrals

Requirements:

  • Good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Assistive Devices Authorizer (ADP Authorizer) certification for mobility assessments
