Avara Landscaping & Property Care is seeking a reliable Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to landscape maintenance.

Work Environment

Our team works outdoors in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly installed and maintained
  • Perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including cutting grass, raking, and collecting refuse
  • Remove litter and garbage from work sites
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, forklifts, and small engine equipment
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
